The circus poet and the 2008 Kaiken Malbec

Tell any 4 year old to go to the circus and they might come back with a poetic  story about a deep fried stuffed animal that they lost in a game of poker to the bearded lady… while entertaining there’s not much fact. Tell the same 4 year old to go to see the London Philharmonic and they’ll pitch a fit and promise to do their homework for a month. With this Malbec I am the 4 year old that just had a glass of Philharmonic…and now needs to go do his homework. Melted marshmallow is not a flavor found within wine, though it was the first thing that came to mind (texture of wine).

Color: medium bodied (5)  w/watery meniscus.

Aroma: Fruity soft

Texture: Melted marshmallow soft

Palate: Plum, berry and soft spice

Oops of the day: Melted marshmallow is not a texture used to describe wine… though it should be because who eats velvet…unless it is red and cake-like.
