Dark Days number 8 – a light dinner

After too much eating for too many weeks we went light tonight.  Roasted potatoes (ours) and organic, hydroponic green salad.  My balsamic vinegar wasn’t local – or the oil, salt and pepper or my daughter’s Catalina salad dressing.  The kids drank milk (local, hormone-free) and my husband and I had wine by the local monks.  It was, in theory, a chardonnay, but incredibly light tasting – - good, but not like any chardonnay I’ve ever tasted.
